Review content:
I went to this restaurant with very high expectations, since it has good reviews and I knew 2 other people who had been there who liked it. I went with 7 others, 4 adults and 4 teens/preteens. The atmosphere is really pretty cool. It's kind of a mexican/gothic looking theme. We were seated right away, and the restaurant was not packed for a Saturday at 6. Parking is on street (metered). The staff was pleasant. They sell tons of different bottled hot sauces and have several on the tables to try, along with a sign saying "Caution: Our hot sauces are extremely hot". We ordered 2 nacho plates for an appetizer at $8. It was basically a corn tortilla with beans, cheese, jalapeno slices, and one had crumbled chorizo. We each got to have one piece from each plate. A little disappointing compared to what I have gotten for nachos at other mexican restaurants. Our beverages were also expensive for the Albany area. Our dinners were fine for the most part. All were tasty, most were worth the dinner price of $12 - 18. A couple were a little on the skimpy side. A pleasant experience, but I don't think we would go out of our way to go again.
