I had never visited a chiropractor before. In fact, I had always questioned the value and safety of chiropractic care. After performing several minor household chores over the course of 3 days during my 5th month of pregnancy, I awoke one morning practically unable to walk or move from pain in my pelvis which continued to worsen daily. My OB diagnosed the problem as typical pregnancy related sciatica which I knew was not the issue. Thankfully he referred me to Keystone Chiropractic since Dr Hedgepath specializes in treating pregnant women.
She immediately found the problem, a misaligned pelvis, and treated me 3 times the first week and promised to have me moving by that weekend. Needless to say, she was right. In addition to offering excellent treatment, it is clear that her motivation is to help her patients rather than scheduling unnecessary visits. In no time I was down to 1 visit per 3 weeks even though I was prepared to continue my weekly treatments. I have referred all my fellow pregnant friends experiencing problems to Dr Hedgepath and they experienced immediate relief as well. I can't imagine how painful my last trimester would have been without Keystone Chiropractic. Dr Hedgepath and Heather are awesome! I'll always be grateful for their help.
