Review content:
I love Mexican food, and El Sureño is one of the best in this part of North Carolina. The dinner menu is extensive, including combination dinners, seafood, fajitas, chimichangas, pork, chicken, beef and vegetarian dishes, in addition to a la carte, appetizer and side orders. Drinks include Mexican and domestic soft drinks, Mexican and domestic beer in bottles and on tap, as well as mixed drinks and wine. Lunch, served from 11 – 3 daily, has 20 choices, plus salads and sandwiches. Desserts include sopapilla, flan, fried ice cream and a Mexican banana split. There is also a kid's menu. Open Sunday – Thursday 11 am – 10 pm, Friday – Saturday, 11 am – 11 pm.
