Review content:
The French Quarter is a very unpredictable club. It is also located in a rough part of Nashville. Being off the music path, the owners would be far better to stick with country and writers nights to build a solid client/customer base. I have been there many times and the crowd is very small, usually a lot of the stranger styles of music in Nashville go there, because they are given a venue there. I saw very few people buy drinks so I know they can't be making much money off that. The sound is great! They have one of the better systems in town yet not the music or writers to fill the bill. Owners definetly need to re-think their management goals.....if they want to be known as a good club for Musicians. I play at many places and this one would not be on top of my list due to the consistency of the attendees. James Westborn has performed on various TV shows including American Bandstand, TNN's Be A Star, and other venues.
