I used Couture Cakes for my wedding August 27, 2004.. I was recommend here but a few acquaintances who have used this company and have been extremely impressed.. we made an appointment to meet with the owner and she was friendly during our phone conversation.. we arrived for our appointment and were pleased with the shop.. it was decorated stylish and trendy, which I loved.. there was not any cakes on display, as this company doesn't want you to say "I want that cake", they want to sit down and talk to you about what you want, design a cake that is going to be a reflection of you and what you love.. I was impressed with that.. she baked us 4 sample cakes and they were all delicious.. we sat down for a good 45 minutes talking about our wedding details, colors, ect.. she asked us plenty of questions and we came to an agreement on what our wedding cake would be.. she was going to copy the detail on my wedding dress and use that as the design on the cake.. I was floored with this idea, it was just brilliant.. so we quickly put down our deposit and decided not to look elsewhere, she was everything we were looking for and more.. at our next appointment I brought a picture of my dress and we sampled 4 more cakes and decided on a flavor.. they were all so good.. the best cake I've ever had.. on our wedding day I was floored when I first set eyes on my cake, she duplicated my dress detail exactly.. it was just more then I could have imagined.. I was extremely happy.. it got around to the guests and everyone was checking both my dress detail and the cake out and commenting on how that was just amazing.. the cake was excellent, we had rave after rave about it and tons of people asking us where it came from.. the prices at Couture are a little higher then average but it's affordable and I truly feel that the prices are 100% justified in the services and product received.. I will only use Couture Cakes from now on.. they cannot be beat!
