Review content:
This gym has the worst customer service that I have ever seen from any type of business. We were skeptical from the beginning because the place had the feel of a used car dealership, except instead of being attacked immediately, I had to wait 30 minutes before I was able to talk to the car salesman. We were given a tour and listened to the spiel of how this gym was better than the rest. We have two children and the salesman did not disclose two very import policies about the gym’s daycare. It wasn’t until our very first after joining the gym, that we were told that there is 1 hour and 15 minute limit for children 12 months and under. We had been at the gym for 1 hour and 20 minutes when someone from the daycare walked through the pool area carrying a large sign with my name on it to tell me to go pick up my youngest child. We had been told that our children would be watched for up to 2 hours. The daycare does not change diapers. At times they will come get you or page you to let you know that you need to go change your child’s diapers. That’s really nice when you only have 1 hour and 15 minutes to work out. At other times, they won’t call at all. You might pick up your child who has soiled clothes. We were also told that the daycare closes at 9p.m. Once again it wasn’t until after we had joined the gym that we were informed that the daycare closes an hour earlier for children 12 months and under.
Every hour on the hour, the pool closes for 10 minutes for anyone under the age of 15. This is the case even if the child is in the pool with their parents. Try explaining to a two year old that they have to get out of the pool for 10 minutes. This is the only gym that does this. The gym’s policy is that any time there is lightning within a 30 mile radius of the gym, the pools are closed. This includes the indoor pool. Basically, anytime there is a storm anywhere in the area, you should call the gym if you plan to use the pool because there is a high probability that it is closed for the day. It's incredible the number of times that I have gone to that gym when there wasn't a cloud in the sky and the pool was closed.
Another really annoying policy at this gym is with i.d.’s. If you forget your wallet and therefore don’t have an i.d., they will not let you in, even though they can bring your photo up on their computer. They require that you drive back home to get your i.d. No other gym has this policy.
There are better gyms in the area that you should consider.
