Review content:
When my husband and I got married a few years ago our photographer backed out at the last minute. Rant and Rave was the only photographer in town who had the date open. Their price was very reasonable, and the fact that we received the negatives was a plus.
On the downside, the resulting photos were nothing special. The lighting was not great- several of the photos are very dark. The posing was uninspired, and several of the group shots are too crowded in the frame- they can't be cropped to different sizes. When we picked up the photos we were told that one fo the cameras had malfunctioned, so we have no pictures from the balcony of the church, and several key moments at the reception were not captured.
Having said that, a friend used R&R 2 years ago, and they have gotten much better. Based on our experience I probably wouldn't recommend, but you should visit them and see how they are now.
