so far this is the best cajun food that i have found outside of louisiana. you might ask how i would know this? its cause i'm from Baton Rouge. I've been eating cajun food my entire life. So much that even when i went to middle and high school, they would serve us cajun food. Now, this place may have the name gumbo shop, but their best item on the menu is jambalaya. get the whole order. if you don't finish it, just take it home, because you will want to eat it later. their poboys are pretty good too, but their gumbo...maybe not the best, but still good. they even have this king meal which is huge. you can try to eat it by yourself, but i would suggest eating it with a friend. may look like a hole in the wall place, but the foor is excellent.
