Review content:
Wash. U is my alma mater.
Wash. U has one of the most beautiful campuses I’ve ever seen. It overlooks the beautiful Forest Park. It is constantly ranked as of the top 15 schools on US News. It is often nicknamed as the “Harvard of the Midwest”. Student diversity – ok… bc after all.. it is in St. Louis.. not in washington state or washington dc. WU offers liberal arts, engineering, business, art, or architecture. WU medical school is always on the top 5 list.
However, I have to say.. science profs are arrogant, with the elitest attitude. Some of them are just rude and condescending, especially the ones over at the medical campus. They only care about their own research/name. They don’t spend enough time providing help to their students. Some of them frankly don’t even care if their students have difficult time learning the material. Pre-med is tough. Less than half make it til the end. Most of them drop out by end of first year. I would not recommend doing pre-med here. After all, it’s the science GPA that really matters when u apply to med schools.
