Review content:
I called M and M movers to move 4 pieces of my furniture. A 3 piece sectional and a rocking chair. I was originally told by the company that I would get 5 movers and a truck to move my couches and chair. On the day of the move I called the company and the receptionist told me that she cancelled our appointment with us because she had a bigger move to do that day. She never called to cancel, so I demanded that they came to move my furniture because we had to be moved out by that day. When they finally showed up it was 4 hours late, with only two men. I explained to them that we were moving from a third floor to a second and that my sectional sofa weighed over 500 pounds per piece and that it took 4 men to move it into the house. The two men assured me that they would be able to get the couch down without any problems. During the move of my couch they dropped part of it off the second floor porch causing it to break into 3 pieces, the broke the legs off the other part because they forced it down the stairs without taking off the legs. The damaged 2 of the 4 pieces that I asked them to move. They charged me 130 dollars for the move and then they promised to get back to me because they promised to replace my couch. They never called back when they said they would. I constantly had to call them. I moved in July and I still haven't heard from them after many phone calls. I have a singed letter from them saying they still have my coach in their possession. They told me that they were in insured mover and that any damages they caused during the move they would fully cover. I still do not have my items back from them and they keep deleting my reviews I write about them. Bad Business Practices.
