On a scale of 1-10 for customer service, they are a solid 0. The lady at the counter has some issues and is just plain rude.
Went there to get a TPMS sensor installed. Got a quote over the phone. Once there, the mechanics were working on the wheel, but the old valve stem took quite a bit of work to get off. Just as the mechanic was getting the stem off, the owner lady came out and halted the work and told me I had to pay more because the work took longer than they thought. She said I have two options, either pay more or take the car as is, which was not really an option, since one wheel was taken apart and the car can't really run on 3 wheels. I grudgingly agreed to pay the extra amount but did point out that it seemed a bit like being held hostage considering the situation and that I found that to be an unusual business practice to be used on a new customer. She asked me how I would pay and offered a discount if I paid in cash. When I insisted on paying by credit card, she instructed the mechanics to put the wheel back together without the sensor and get the car out. Then she went on a rant about how she did not want the liability, she shouldn't have ever taken the car in in the first place because it's a VW Touareg and it's a huge liability and how she doesn't want a complaint. While the mechanics were wrapping up the car, her and the guy in the back-office took turns on reassuring themselves on how they were right and how I was just a bad customer and they should have never taken my car to begin with. When the mechanics were done putting the car back together and returned the uninstalled parts, I tipped the mechanic a 20 and thanked him for his help, because they were nice and really tried hard. As for the people at the customre counter, I must have caught them at the wrong moment, but I gotta say, I have never been treated this poorly as a customer in my life. They ended up not charging me for the visit, but I also did not get the work done I came in for and ended up wasting over an hour at the place.
