Review content:
I've got a couple of young kids and they love going to the movies. But ticket prices, popcorn and a soda for a family of four has gotten out of hand. We recently moved to Tucson and I'm glad we found the Grand Cinemas Oracle View, located on the 4th floor of American Home Furnishings (next to the Tucson Mall). They call it a "intermediate-market movie theatre". It's a 2nd run theatre. Tickets for adults are $3.00 and $2.50 for kids/seniors. Plus, you can often find buy one get one free coupons. The theater is OK for the money. You won't find stadium seating or digital sound, or any food beyond the basics (drinks, nachos, popcorn, hot dogs, etc.) If you buy the Large Combo (popcorn and drink), you get free refills and a free movie pass. Other good things: parking is in a garage, and it never seems to be crowded. So if you want to save a few bucks, and can wait a few weeks until after a movie is first released, give the Oracle View a try.
