My boyfriend and I visited Toscana 52 by accident after coming from Parx Casino. We thought we were going to a Mexican restaurant because of the exterior of the building. We never read the sign. Go figure. When we went inside, I said "This looks like an Italian restaurant". Low and behold, it was! Great. Even better. The ambiance was wonderful. I was upset that we didn't come with a larger party because I wanted to sit at the v.i.p. center table (IT GLOWS : ) ) Our entres came out and were plated well and piping hot. The flavors blended well although I favor my food saltier than how it was presented. The only reason they only received 4 stars was because our waitress did not present us with any of the specials. She was new. We over heard the waitress at the table next to us and said to ourselves "Darn it, had we known those were the specials, we would have ordered that instead". Our waitress still bust her behind and gave us great service. For that she still recieved a great tip. I'll just bring a little baggie of Lawry's seasoning salt for my food and ask for the seasoned staff next time. lol. Just kidding.
