Greenwald catered a party in my home this weekend. Manny, the catering manager, was a pleasure on the phone--he gave me all the items I wanted on the menu, made great suggestions, and always took my calls. He was flexible and accommodating. The waiters arrived promptly, in plenty of time to set up a beautiful buffet. They were helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and plentiful. The potatoes were delicious, the chicken and beef were moist and tasty, salads fresh, guacamole and babaganoush exquisite. Unfortunately the cake, while beautifully decorated, was dry and lacked flavor. The cookies were also disappointing. I'm not sure if the timing was an issue on the baked goods, since our affair followed the day after a consecutive Yom Tov and Shabbos. But the fruit was sweet and ripe. The price was reasonable considering the excellent service and high food quality. The party was a success and the food was a big part of that. This is our second time working with Greenwald, and we would definitely use them again.
