Review content:
King's is the bowling alley that you can go to if you don't want to be seen "bowling" - it is for those kids that are too cool for school... it is right downtown, right near the posh Back Bay neighborhood, and it really can be described as upscale. I must admit that I have been impressed with how cool King's is. The lighting is exciting (glow-in-the-dark; neon, etc), and the decor takes you back to the disco days. The drinks are extremely overpriced and so is the bowling, but it is a great place to go for a special occasion. I was there for one stop on a bachelorette party and they really took care of us. Everyone had tons of fun. I would recommend it, but only for special occasions... if you are serious about bowling, there are less expensive options... unless you are too cool for those places... then King's is it for you!
