Review content:
Huc-A-Poos is a hidden treasure - some people have trouble finding it even when they are looking. For the record, it is located in the Tybee Oaks Shopping center, on the left side of the street as you come onto Tybee Island over the bridges from Savannah (but before the 1st stoplight).
The building used to be a house, once upon a time, but has "grown" organically over the years to include a series of porches. There is an interesting collection of records albums and knick-knacks plastered on the walls and ceiling. Yes, it sounds kind of like an Applebees or something but that is the only similarity and besides, this stuff is real.
At Huc-A-Poos you will find kick-ass pizza and other much better than average bar fare, extremely reasonable prices, and hip locals. On weekends there will usually be someone squeezed into the back booth to play live music. Don't get too fancy and feel free to bring your dog (or rabbit or whatever).
