Review content:
if you haven't heard yet, Ruggles Green has opened on West Alabama (cross street Revere, near Pesce and Borders in the Upper Kirby district). I went tonight and ate Goat Cheese Salad, Quinoa Mac and Cheese, and Greek Pizza. The restaurant concept is all natural, organic, great tasting food and it truly lives up to it. affordable: a pizza that is large enough for two is $14 earth friendly: i ordered it to-go, and the boxes the food came in were obviously recycled and almost no plastic used in the packaging. also, they use gas-efficient cars in their delivery service, and i read that they recycle all their waste. unique: if you know ruggles, you know their food is not your usual burger with cheese fare. check out the menu, they have unusual items such as fish tacos and buffalo burgers. gluten free: some items are listed as gluten free, and i have known a couple people who are allergic to gluten who can't eat anything but lettuce at most restaurants, so this is wonderful for them! my only complaint is that seating is limited and it was very noisy on a sunday night. however, i can see the small size and low ceilings providing a very cozy atmosphere when there isnt a rush. also, the parking lot was almost full. But it was totally worth it because the food was fabulous and fresh! Pros: delicous! healthy, earth friendly... i could go on! Cons: loud when busy
