What a crazy little photo shop - I wandered in here on my father's recommendation (a staten island native, he knows all these little places that have been there for a thousand years) and what a delight! I felt like i was entering a weird cave of photo supplies, cameras, old rolls of film, and a nutty cast of characters to go with it. Habilds sells cameras, photo equipment both vintage and new, film, and will do photo processing of all kinds.
It feels like the Willy Wonka shop of cameras - you have to go just for the experience of going. and the people working there seem like encyclopedias of arcane photographic knowledge.
