Review content:
Why don't more people go to the Victory Diner?? The food is great, it's open 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, it not only has great standard diner fare but also delicious greek specialties, and it has the island's best grilled cheese sandwich. Why is this place not PACKED? Everyone I have brought there becomes a devotee of something on the menu, and will argue that its the best (insert cheese fries, diner burger, grilled cheese, etc) on the island.
Now, usually I like my haunts deserted and kept secret, but I'm afraid this place might actually close if more people don't go there! I think the problemm is all the kids I brought there in HS & college have moved away. It's a great late- night (or so-late-it's-early breakfast) joint.
Go get a grilled cheese now.
