Review content:
Asheville Pizza & Brewing is located on Merrimon Avenue in the old Merrimon Twin Movie Theatre.
The Pizza is among the best in town, and the rest of the menu is great as well. Weekdays, there's a under $7 buffet that's all you can eat. At night there are movies, usually just off of the primary screens for $2. One of the old theaters was set up as a TV projection/pool room/video game lounge.
It's an all comers kind of place - college kids, older groovers, families with kids. Delivery is always an option too.
The beer selection is large, and the airy bar is inviting. There's also outdoor seating. A little off the beaten path of downtown Asheville, Asheville Pizza & Brewing is worth the effort.
