Review content:
I arrived at the Annapurna on a Sunday afternoon - exhausted and emotionally drained. I did not really know what to expect, since my schedule leading up to this moment had been so frenetic and stressful that I did not even have the time to research and schedule my own healing retreat! The arrangements were made by my husband, John, who found the Annapurna on the internet and talked with Robin on the phone. "She is going to help you," he said. "Let her."
After six consecutive days of healing, embraced in the loving and kind arms of Robin and Ciela, and with the camaraderie and support of the other residents of the household - some of whom were going through the same process - I now feel like the self I used to be before the stress of the past year. The colon hydrotherapy and the gallbladder flush were difficult, but worth it. My body feels younger, stronger and healthier, and my mind infinitely clearer. Exposure to a week of live, organic, fresh food was a reminder of why we put food in our body in the first place - to nourish and heal us.
