Winding Trails Recreation Center is a large and spacious facility with countless outdoor activites to perform. Dunning Lake, a large 100 acre lake, is the hallmark of winding trails. It has a massive swimming area with two 12'x12' rafts and a sand bar in the center of the lake's deepest portion. Outside of the enclosed area is a portion for boating and fishing. Guests can use their own boat or rent from a wide variety of boats. Prices start at just $3 for 1/2 hour. The lake has several lifeguards and a long, sandy beach. The Winding Trails facility also has a large number of tennis courts and soccasr fields. There is also a baseball diamond and a bin with enough equipment to outfit an entire team.
Winding trails also has over 5 miles of mountain biking and cross country skiing trails (depending on the season) There is also another large pond which can be used to fish in or sakte on during the winter. In the Dunning Lake area there is a fully functional snak bar with salads sandwiches, fries, onion rings, and similar foods. Members can stay for the day or camp out. Yearly memberships start areound $350 for an individual and $600 for a family. Guests cost $5.00 but can only enter if accompanied by a member. Applicants can join a waiting list to gain membership to Winding Trails. It takes several years to reach the end of the waiting list.
