I asked for a cleaning. They told me they could not clean it because the prefab wall panels needed to be replaced because of cracks. They quoted $1000 repairs.
I contacted another Chimney sweep who not only did the cleaning, but said the wall panels were still in good shape and did not need replacement.
I Googled to find out what conditions were required for replacement of prefab panels. Basically, the cracks need to be nickel-width thick. The few cracks I had were hairline. I would have trouble fitting in a paper width in them.
I have many other complaints, which leave me to think the problem was with this technician. I don't know if this one represents all those at High's, but I won't use them again.
