Cain's Tire is a landmark on 4th Street in San Rafael, next to the Mayflower Pub. I have been going to them since the 1970s, and have never had a negative experience there. They know that treating people well means they'll come back again. Sound business practices. The great thing is that it's a family-run business, so the money you spend stays locally and doesn't build a CEO a monster house in Florida. I've had quite a few front-end alignments there as well, owing to the deteriorating condition of the roads in N. California. Never had a gripe about their prices for labor or materials. Always honest to a fault. Took my truck in for a brake job, they told me to come back in 20,000 miles, when they could have just as easily done an unnecessary job.
I'd give them six stars if they had six on Judy's Book.
