Best Dining Experience I have ever had.
I have been working in the service industry for 12 years. The service hear is the best I have ever experienced. Their attention to detail so specific that they were able to transfer our drinks from the bar to our dining table and not goof it up. Not that sort of thing is a dining make or break, but it simply is a testament to their service.
The food was tremendous. I had spoke with the manager Donnie Sullivan who not only gave amazing recommendations that I took, we also aloud him to pair our wine tasting with our courses. The Servuga Cavier from Iran was breath taking. Paired with our rose the flavors just meshed so well. We all had the 3 course option. All four of us felt that the 3 courses were plenty of food. I started with striped bass carrpaccio. This hands down was the best dish I had. Paired with a crisp clean Sauv. Blanc from Ojai. I then had the squab followed by the Turbot. The flavors from these courses was like electricity in my mouth. I am just hoping that this does not ruin my dining experience everywhere else.
Summed up, I would have to say that I felt like royalty. Not that I know what that is like but my expectations or fantasy of being served as though I was a Prince or some Sheik. I would say that this is a must try experience. Put your dining experience in the the hands of the staff and you will not be disappointed.
Last note: The Water Closets were amazing. The second you open the door the sent of lavender billows from the water closet. It was as though you are in your own little cocoon in a french chateau.
