I typed in my info to look for a builder in Philadelphia area. Service Magic contacted Diversified Construction Group, LLC. We signed a contract on March 25, 2010 with them to demolish and remove existing foundation, install new foundation, frame and erect new home, stucco exterior of home and sheetrock entire home according to architectural plans for total of 48,000. They demanded a huge deposit of $10,000 upfront b/c they said they need money to order dumpsters. They should start the job after I got my building permit. After I got my building permit ready on June 9, 2010, I realized how shady and unreliable the whole operation was. They never showed up for the job and stopped answering my calls. I demanded my money back since they don’t want to start to get job done. Now they refuse to refund my money. They told me they spent my 10,000 and had no money to start. They said “Your money is gone”. I advise all to run from Diversified Construction Group, LLC as far as you can.
