Review content:
Moderate prices, wonderful ambiance and decor, truly excellent food and top notch service. I highly recommend this restaurant. I am an Italian American who has travelled the world since childhood. You can bet your last dollar that I know good food. If you are disappointed with Toscana 52 then you are probably someone you really likes the "all you can eat" Chinese buffet. Before I went there with my wife, my Dad, two nieces, my brother and his wife, I read lots of reviews. Only one reviewer had something negative to say. I figured she was the quintessential bridezilla. There were seven in my party. We ordered five appetizers and shared. Two of us had an alcoholic beverage; everyone else had soda or ice tea. Of course, we all had an entree and coffee afterward. The bill was about $208.00. Include the tip and it comes to about $35.00 per person. Some people may think that's a lot of money for lunch and others may think it's downright cheap. That's all relative. Our little group goes out for lunch regularly and we are always trying different Italian restaurants. There are great places to eat in and around Philadelphia and many serve generous portions and are less expensive than this but all of us agreed that the few extra dollars were well worth the experience. Final note: Call ahead for a reservation if you plan on going on a weekend night. This place is usually packed solid and for good reason.
