Attention homebuyers looking for an inspector!
Through a referral from a friend, I was fortunate enough to find Dan Cullen.
Not only is he so through but he is a delight to work with.
I am a first time homebuyer and unfortunately, I have had a run of issues on my first time around!
Dan came to inspect my first condo that I had put an offer on. I was doing a 2.5 day close, crazy right?! He easily made time in his schedule to accommodate me ASAP. When there, Dan found NUMEROUS, very important issues with the unit. His discoveries led me to wonder with all of the problems with the unit had surfaced, what is the remainder of the building hiding? This was new construction in the heart of downtown, how could this happen?! With Dan on my side, we discussed all of the issues with the construction manager of the development. Dan stood up for me, telling the builder of all of the violations the unit possessed, things I would have never known with out his help.
Sadly, I walked away from that unit and still love it but know it was too much of a risk due to the state of the unit and the buildings financial issues (which would be even more of a problem if the building was faulty as we suspected) thanks to Dan.
I currently am in contract with another building. Dan again quickly made time in his schedule to come view my unit. He takes the time to explain every little issue to you, big or small, something that is very important for a first time buyer to know. He is also quick to send you a detailed, emailed report complete with photos for your records after his visit.
I simply can not thank Dan enough. His being on my side made me feel so much more protected in a very stressful situation. I know he will be there to answer any questions I may have about my place in the future! As my friends begin to buy homes themselves, they will absolutely be working with Dan Cullen and Domicile Consulting.
