My roommate and I dropped in on a Tuesday for the $3 Tecate and Taco special. The shrimp tacos I ordered were delicious and a great deal. The regular menu looked really good and had very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this place over any of the other overpriced restaurants in the Gaslamp, especially if you are going to dinner before a night out, or if you're looking for something a little more casual and affordable. Service was excellent - the bartenders and servers and very friendly to us and made us want to come back - which we have many times since our Taco Tuesday experience. The music was awesome - I love 90's rock and there was plenty of STP and AIC on the playlist. I've heard a wide range of music being played in this place though on other occasions, so it all depends on what night you go I guess. The decor has a gothic/rocker feel but it's still very elegant and the booths next to the bar are nice and cozy. The Tequila list is impressive and the margarita on the rocks (no salt) I had on another night was on point. I think this might be my new favorite place in the Gaslamp! Pros: Food, Prices, Tequila, Atmosphere, Music Cons: Parking (as always in this area)
