Review content:
I brought an older car to this garage and wanted a NYS inspection. Received a call on what it needed, maybe more than I wanted to spend but moved forward, they were vague and stated they needed to check one other item, instead of checking that before moving forward they did the inital work and then came back to me and told me that it would need additional work, not just some work but triple the original quote. When I complain the office clerk was very apathetic and could not have cared less. They offered no resolution so I had a car that did not pass inspection but needed tons of work. I know that the amount of work the car ultimately needed was not their fault but if I had been fully informed I would have probably just went out and gotten my son a different vehicle, the amount of work was more than that entire car was worth! Let me make sure this is clear, I am not some young kid or someone who normally complains, I have been getting cars inspected for nearly 30 years so I have had some experience, this was the first time I have ever experienced something like this ever! Let me repeat that, I have never seen a garage do something like this. I was left looking around for Ashton Kutcher to come out and tell me I had been punk'd it was truly that bad of an experience. Needless to say I will never return to this place, I am shocked to see a garage and a mechanic care so little about their reputation or their customer service. At then end of the day it's really all they have and without it there will be an empty building there one day!
