Review content:
I brought an Airedale and a Collie to Muddy paws for grooming. They informed me that the Airedale would need to be trimmed short rather than leaving fringe along his legs and belly. They did not say anything about the Collie's grooming.
Rather than trimming the Airedale, they shaved him. Not only does he not have fringe on his legs or belly (as I was warned) he has no hair on his head or ears. His whole body was shaved. Moreover, in shaving him they cut his skin around his mouth and on two of his legs. The Collie was unexpectedly trimmed short.
The woman I dealt with was unapologetic about the situation to the extent of becoming surely.
Muddy Paws should have communicated their intent more clearly and by no means should their grooming have drawn blood.
Furthermore, the price they charged for the groom deviated from their listed prices and they did not provide any notice of the additional charge when I dropped the dogs off. If they were not going to charge the price listed on their website, they should have informed me either when I made the appointment or when I dropped the dogs off.
