Review content:
I scheduled a one-hour massage for myself (Swedish) and my husband (Reflexology) on a Sunday morning. Maybe our expectations were too high after reading all the amazing reviews. To start, I was still undressing when the therapist knocked on the door. I told her I needed a few more minutes but she proceeded to walk in and left the door open so that she could talk to our other therapist who was standing on the hallway. I literally had to tap her shoulder and tell her firmly that I was still undressing and to please close the door. I was particularly uncomfortable since some weird guy with a laptop just hanging out on the upstair lobby and was my line of view. My massage was mediocre! I made sure the therapist knew I was paying for a Swedish massage but she still proceeded to use multiple Thai strokes such as flopping her hands vertically on my back and HEAD! It was the most uncomfortable feeling. Her strokes were rushed and clumsy. I communicated with her throughout the massage about her pressure which she was receptive to. However, I don't believe it was my job to instruct her every 5 minutes on what a Swedish massage was. I probably had been more vocal but my husband was getting his massage in the same room and I did not want to disturb his relaxation. Little did I know he was not enjoying his massage either. His therapist was also rushed and rough. She also had him put his feet and very hot water withouth even telling him before hand or checking afterwards if the water was too hot for him. The therapists also talked between themselves during our treatment which I thought was disrespectful and unprofessional. What a disppointment! I guess we definitely got we paid for!
Pros: Price
Cons: Massage Therapist.
