Review content:
We've used ip5280 for a couple of years now and it's been pretty good at the office.
Last week I took my VoIP phone to my home office and it was supposed to be plug and play. Not the case.
I called tech support and they could see my phone over the net, but said it wasn't getting the configuration from their server for some reason and put in a ticket to 2nd level tech support.
I've called back twice a day for a week now and can not get the 2nd level tech support people to call me back. The 1st level folks always log my call, and promise to escalate my issue and have someone call me back that day. Nada, nothing, zip is what I have heard from their 2nd level staff.
This is very frustrating and really unacceptable. Might be time to look into another VoIP provider.
UPDATE: After sending an e-mail to Customer Service with a CC to corporate, I got a call from a Client Services Manager who resolved the issue with a firmware update to my phone in a matter of minutes. He gave me his direct phone number for any future issues and apologized for the delay in getting it resolved.
Pros: VoIP phones work great with a good internet connection
Cons: 1 week of constant calls, & no call back from tech support!!
