The last reviewer was right about the entrance to the spa; it doesn't seem like anything special but inside it definitely looks and feels like a spa and the services (massage) were great. My friend and I were in town for a girls-getaway and decided to get a massage at Happy Day Spa (without any recommendation--we found them online under Carmel Day Spas). Mary could not have been more gracious and knowlegeable. The massage was great (I get regular massage therapy at home for migranes)--I've had many so-so massages at expensive hotels so now I go outside the hotel spa for massage and Mary was one of the best. The place is nicely set up inside, small, clean, friendly and professional. I (and my friend) will definitely go back when we're in the area, and have already recommended it to friends who live in and around Carmel.
