I've only been here twice, but each time was a blast. If you've never skated before try it out here. Open nights change, as leagues and figure skating take most of the daytime sessions, but find out. Last time I went it only cost me $8 for skates and all night skating. Fun place for a date, but also good to go with friends. Check out the sports bar next door for good food/drinks while watching either a game of hockey or just some skating. Only thing I didn't like was the food inside the skating rink, skip it and go to the sports bar like I recommended.
