Review content:
Barona casino is located just 25-30 minutes outside San Diego, just past Lake Side on the Barona Indian Reservation. For those of you haven’t been there in a while I suggest you check it out. When I first started going there it was one big top circus tent with few table and just enough slot machines. Things have changed! They now have 18 hole golf course, wedding facilities, huge parking structure, lodging, wonderful landscaping and plenty of gaming. I would have to say the gamming space has tripled since I started going here in the late 90's. While the drive is less than desirable, with blind turns, curves up and down hills and buses slowing things up it is worth the trip every once an a while. Alcohol is not served at this casino and I believe this is solely attributed to the driving conditions. The buffet is classic casino style buffet, often times you can find 2 for 1 coupons or change in your frequent player rewards to make it a nice deal.
