I went on a Saturday night at 7pm ish with my friends. I thought the sampler (3) choice poke portion could be a little more. I thought the lomi-lomi salmon was somewhat salty which overwhelms the fish(It was unnecessary-needs to maintain balance the flavors between the fish and other ingredients); the ahi poke needs a little more flavoring---hukilau's probably better; and the octopus was good. This couple that sat next to us mentioned their steak is too salty. Their kalua pork with cabbage is tasty yet moist--same for their teriyaki chicken. Their hapia is good also. The service is attentive. The decor is presentable with wide space to walk through(hukilau's is cramped). If anyone from Hanu's reads this constructive criticism and to willing to improve themselves--then I probably return more often. Remember the few good to great individuals can make (a)(the)difference(s). Pros: Kalua pork/cabbage, teriyaki chicken, octopus appetizier. Cons: Ahi tuna need more flavoring, lomi-lomi salmon is salty, (3) choise sampler could be a little more plentiful.
