Businiess name:  The Jester Comedy Club

Review content:
Fisrt of all, the comics were great! They were almost funny enough to make me forget about the atmosphere. There is an old saying about putting lipstick on a pig and that is the sense we had at Jesters. It is an old commicial park that someone had the idea to dress up as a gallery and comedy club, among other things. This works well for old warehouses and factories but not generic business parks. A part of The Jester's mantra is an emphasis on class. The walls are drapped in fabric and the tables are set with black linen and the tableware is good quality. Then you are served soda or tea in a CAN and you have a menu that looks like a foo foo version of club food (which really wasn't half bad but was just fancy club food). Additionally the tables were very close together and the waitresses wore T-shirts (class?). Interestingly, no one checked our tickets when we arrived. We sat ourselves and never had to show our tickets...anyone could just walk in off the street and join the party. Bottom line: The atmosphere does not do justice to the talent. If class is what the owners are going for, they really fell short. Stop wasting good lipstick on an ugly pig...PLEASE find a better locale! Pros: Great talent! Cons: Location, location, location!
