Review content:
The restaurant is fairly nice looking. As you enter, you see a sushi bar counter set before a sushi chef. If the sushi bar is not to your liking you can go further into this place and find your common casual resturant with table setting. I went to this place at night, but even during the day the place is dark, lit by orangish lights.
Now lets get down to the food. I personally order the suishi deluxe combo. It costs 13.50 during lunch time and 16.50 at dinner. You are initially served with miso soup and Japanese salad. I am only dissappointed with the salad at this place, because it is not the same sweet miso taste I taste in other Japanese restaurants. The salad is a bit bland.
The main plate of food is a variety of sushis, both nigiri and maki. I don't exactly remember all that I got but I'll try to the best of my ability in the following list:
4 Tuna Maki rolls
1 Yellowtail Nigiri
1 Unagi Nigiri
2 Tuna Nigiri
2 Salmon Nigiri
1 Salmon Eggs Roll
1 Shrimp Nigiri
1 Tamago
The sushi tasted great. I thought that this plate wouldn't fill me up, but it did. I did not need to order extra sushi to satisfy my cravings. My cousin was also satisfied.
In my opinion, for the price of 16:50 it was quite worth it. However, I have yet to try the competing place called Kayo. My friend says that you get quite a bit there as well for 16 dollars. I would definitely return to this place.
