I hate this place! It is overpriced. The dog food selection is horrible. The only good dog food there is Blue Buffalo and everything else is utter crap. And I had the worst experience at their grooming salon.
I wanted to get Kipper's nails trimmed. After an incident where I accidentally cut into the quick of her nail, I've been scared to cut it. So I went to the grooming salon in hope that a professional can easily get it done. When I went in there, I was horrified. There was a groomer that was shaving this poodle's hair while a golden retriever was laying right under that table and the hair was flying all over the golden. I thought that was gross. Not only that, there were only two people waiting in line and the person at the cash register was taking ages to check us in/collect our money. When it was Kipper's turn to get her nail cut, the groomer handled her very roughly, to the point where she was yelping. She's was only 16 weeks then and it was unnecessary for the groomer to be pulling and twisting her paws. I was so upset and heartbroken. Nobody treats my pup like that. I will not support this horrid place!
Btw, my pup is not ill behaved. She goes to another groomer on Irving and she does great there. She's in and out of that place in less than 5 minutes. So I'm assuming Petsmart groomers don't know how to work with dogs.
