Review content:
Maybe it's the summer, maybe it's too much success, but Harvest has slipped on some important details. We've gone there for years, and love the management. But summer service has been spotty, some meals definitely far from up to par.
Veggies in omelettes (more than once) were very bad tasting. Toast, burnt. French toast hard and inedible. Tastes of the grill provided unwanted flavors. Stuff just not fresh. Service- well, some of the staff is stupendous, and almost always do a great job, even in the face of adversity and poor food prep. Others are sleepwalking through their days. You know who I mean, Kelly.
We'll certainly give Harvest another chance, but for now, the hype doesn't meet the reality test.
