Review content:
For the price Royal Suite Lodge is a great deal. The rooms are actually 1-2 bedroom apartments with bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and many closets. It's an older building, but it's clean and in a good location. The staff is very accommodating and there is airport shuttle available. It's not a major chain and expensive hotel, so if that is what you expect, don't book here. It is a locally run hotel and very adequate to meet the needs of people traveling to Alaska for sports, families needing 2 bedrooms, or a long stay. The decor is not new or great, but the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is a full kitchen. We'll book there again because you can't beat the prices and the large rooms.
