Review content:
I was very disappointed with the level of care I received at this office. I was experiencing some rather atypical issues in which my corneas were swollen and this caused my vision to blur. I went home, did what I was directed to do and was seeing no differently 72 hours later. I decided to call to see if perhaps we needed to switch the medications up and to document that I was having severe headaches. I was promised twice that I would receive a return call to address issues that I was having with no follow through. 44 hours later and two calls on my part, a staff member called me back to explain that the pain I was experiencing was normal and that such things take time. I completely understand that when healing, things do take time. I have been in corrective lenses for almost 20 years. I am familiar with optometrists and how things generally work...what I was experiencing was not normal. I contacted another office, Family Eye Care. I can not say enough positive things about my treatment there. My exam was much more thorough and my condition was fully explained. I was told by Dr. Smith to please call her if I had any further complications. She directed the office staff to get in touch with her if I called so that she could come in after hours. They were very caring and professional. Wonderful experience there.
