Rox is a 3 yr old 4 lb yorkie who is my world he was vomiting and had black stools for 2 days after extreme letahagy came about I rushed him to Desert Dunes Animal Hospital and we were worked in right away the front staff even cared enough to send a nurse from the back to make sure rox was not in such a bad condition that he should be rushed to the back. He was okay enough to wait in my arms to be seen by the doctor. After X-rays and bloodwork he was diagnosed with pancreatitis he had to be hospitalized for 4-5 days but even though I have never left my son any where I felt OK leaving him there after I saw how some of the techs were treating the hospitalized patients with such great care through the room windows. Glad to report my son is doing great and we since have continued going to desert dunes animal hospital after this episode because I didnt feel as if they wanted to do stuff just to make a buck. I was even able to visit during his stay. His cage was always full of blankies and clean money well spent!
