Review content:
I was 6,5 week pregnant and I made an appointment with Dr. Ann Mitzner. I wanted to discuss some issues such as having an MRI at the beginning of my pregnany (I was not aware that I was pregnant) and if that had any implications on my pregnancy. I had to wait about 40 minute after my appointment when finally I was led into a room. I had to give the nurse urine sample and she made me get undressed. Almost naked I was waiting for Dr. Mitzner for at least about 10 minutes when she came in. She told me she is not going to examine me (then why did the nurse make me take my clothes off) and she did not even sit down, but was standing and ready to run to her next patient. She did not really listen to me or was willing to discuss my issues. However, she charged me full price for the 5 minutes she spent with me.
The next week I started to bleed. I called the office, but they said it is normal. The following day I was bleeding very heavily and had a miscarriage. I called again and they said, I should call the next day to make an appointment. The following day I started to have very strong pains. My husband called Dr. Mitzner's office at 7:30 am but the answering service picked up promising that they would give the message to either Dr. Mitzner or the doctor on call and call back. We were waiting for an hour and got no reply at all. At 8:30 am I felt so bad that my husband had to take me to the emergency room which cost about 2,000 USD to my insurance.
I would definitely NOT recommend Dr. Mitzner to any one who wants a good and conscientous service.
