Review content:
I tried to sell a number of CDs and DVDs at the location on Crookshank today. The staff were rude and didn't even bother to look up the value of the CDs on their database. Instead, the "gentleman" at the desk asked me to make an offer, then countered with a serious, serious lowball after attempting to explain why the market was what it was, etc, etc. (He was consistently talking down to me).
I went next door to the BuyBacks. They were professional and courteous. They also offered twice as much.
So, to recap: 1) the gentleman was rude 2) the gentleman tried to "explain" things to me 3) the gentleman used Amazon and a single CD to try to explain the offer 4) the store next door gave me twice as much as he offered.
I'll never do business with the location on Crookshank. They intentionally try to rip people off, they're rude, and they honestly don't seem to care if they come off that way.
(Note: I think that CD Warehouse is a franchise. Not sure if all Cincinnati locations are owned by the same folks, so I'll make no claims on their quality).
