Our dog was diagnosed with a serious disease by another vet and she gave us an estimate of $800 for tests, and then "at least" $3000 to get him stabilized, including 5-7 days of hospital care. I knew our dog was sick, but wanted another opinion on simpler, more affordable treatment plans. A friend recommended Pearson Hospital.
They kindly let us come in the same day and we met Dr Schultz. She immediately started treatment, took our dog home with her overnight, woke up every 2 hours to personally give him medication, and had him stabilized enough for home care in 24 hours. And that was the first time we had met her!
I was amazed at how personally invested she was, how much cared about our dog, and how she listened to our concerns. I have never met another vet with that much personal compassion. She saved our dog's life! We are fans forever now.
