I've been a customer of Oxford Laundry since I moved here for grad school 3 years ago. In these 3 years, I've probably used the whole gamut of Oxford Laundry's services, including washing at the laundromat, dry cleaning and even alterations.
When I started doing laundry here, they had older machines, but about 2 years ago, they upgraded to brand new washers that use less water and detergent and consequently better for the environment, which is a plus in my book. The dry cleaning here is good and nicely priced. My dresses come back fresh and clean.
But my most memorable experience here is probably when I ripped a big hole in my favorite pair of jeans. I was almost heart broken because I had the jeans for so long and they were a gift from my grandmother. The lady at Oxford Laundry stitched and mended the hole, and my jeans came back looking like new.
Furthermore, all the hand stitching made the jeans look even more vintage and better than before. Amazing! I really love Oxford Laundry. I've gotten to know the owners and they are so friendly and make me feel at home
