Good: They have one room that sleeps 5 people (2 full and 1 twin) which worked out well for our family since we have 3 kids. The kids LOVED the indoor pool. We chuckled when they said they have a light show at night but the kids wanted to see it. I have to admit we were pleasantly surprised. The kids rocked out with disco lights and water coming down from the ceiling and other surprises.. Bad: It's owned by a very nice family, but they are a bit nit-picky. We couldn't get a few buckets of ice because "if everyone did that they would use up too much ice". When have you ever had a problem getting ice at a hotel? They seem to be pretty worn down from the handful of people that try to take advantage of businesses so now they're a little over zealous. Also, the towels were really lame. There were 5 of us in our room, yet they only left 3 towels every day and they are those really small, thin ones. Improvements: Anything in the rooms would be good. They clearly sank a buch of money into the pool, but nothing has been done to the rooms. The beds are small (more than enough from for queens instead of full beds) and are extremely soft and bouncy. Everything looks original, like carpet and bathrooms. It would have been nice if they had turned the window air conditioner on before we got there since it was 100 degrees outside. Took forever for the room to cool down.. Other: I also had called ahead of time to ensure there was a small fridge avail in the room since I have medication that has to be refridgerated. I explained this to them and they said yes, the room has a fridge. I was frustruated when I got there to find out they leave it unplugged so I had to plug it in and wait for it to chill. I would have expected it to already be plugged in, especially since they knew I had medication that required it. $ was way too much for value because it was peak summer..
