Review content:
I was referred here for gestational diabetes and I never went to an appointment I didn't end up regreting.
Firstly, I never waited less than 3 hours. This is in no way an exaggeration. The waiting room was full every time - and lots of people often brough their kids, making it even more crowded.
My appointments were constantly being cancelled or rescheduled. I never even *saw* Dr. Lala , whose practice it supposedly is, or any doctor, but was always seen by a "physician's assistant." She was nice enough but completely clueless when it came to pregnancy and not that up to speed on diabetes to be honest...
I was put on insulin but given the slackest of monitoring - every week you were supposed to call with your blood sugar numbers but, surprise surprise, the number was always busy. I never managed to get a referral to a dietician (which should have been the *first* thing they did).
Everyone deserves better care than what's on offer at this place. Go elsewhere if you can! My son was born healthy but HUGE and I believe it's in part due to my not getting adequate help in keeping my sugar levels low when I was first diagnosed.
